The City of Ames is inviting firms to submit proposals for the 2023/24 Multi-Modal Roadway Improvements (Somerset Improvements - Stange Road). Firms submitting proposals for this project should expect a response within one month of the submission deadline.

Location: This project involves modifications to Stange Road in the Somerset Area (Northridge Pkwy to Aspen Rd) as shown in the attached conceptual design.

2025/26 Stormwater Erosion Control Program (Worrell Creek Bank Stabilization)

The City of Ames is inviting firms to submit proposals for the 2025/26 Stormwater Erosion Control (Worrell Creek Bank Stabilization). Firms submitting proposals for this project should expect a response within three weeks of the submission deadline.

Sanitary will be televised, and video footage will be provided to the selected design team for review. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a design survey of the project location.

Location:  Worrell Creek, south of Mortensen Pkwy between Gateway Hill Park Drive and University Blvd (See figure for more details)

2025/26 Asphalt Street Pavement Improvements 

The City of Ames is inviting firms to submit proposals for the 2025/26 Asphalt Street Pavement Improvements. Firms interested in this opportunity should submit their proposals by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Response to submitted proposals will be provided within one month of the submission deadline.

All sanitary and storm sewers within the project limits will be televised, and video footage will be provided to the selected design team for review. Core samples and as-built drawings will also be provided, if available. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting a design survey of the project location.

Location: Hillcrest Avenue, Ellis Street, Kentucky Avenue, Illinois Avenue, Indiana Avenue, Oklahoma Drive and Delaware Avenue
