Bloomington Road Reduced to Two Lanes Monday

The outside lanes of Bloomington Road, from George Washington Carver Avenue to Stange Road, will close beginning Monday, June 1, weather permitting, for removal and replacement of pavement, curb, and a storm water structure. This is anticipated to take two to three weeks.

Hyland Avenue Reduced to Single Lane Monday

Hyland Avenue, from 1015 Hyland Ave. to the south side of Pammel Drive, will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic beginning Monday, April 20, weather permitting. This is anticipated to take six to seven weeks. A temporary traffic signal will be used to control alternating northbound and southbound traffic in the southbound lane.

Parts of South Third Street to Close for Repairs

South Third Street from South Kellogg Avenue to South Sherman Avenue will close to all traffic beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14. The street is anticipated to reopen the afternoon of Friday, April 17.

Construction Continues on S. 16th Street; Traffic Maintained

- Construction resumed today on the South 16th Street widening project. Traffic on South 16th Street from South Riverside Drive to University Boulevard is being maintained with one lane in each direction while the northernmost lane is closed for construction.
