Annual Rummage RAMPage Results Announced

The 10th Rummage RAMPage, held in partnership with the ISU Office of Sustainability, raised a significant amount of revenue for 52 non-profit organizations staffing the event. The nine-day community rummage sale was held Friday, July 24, through Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Ames Intermodal Facility, 129 Hayward Ave.

Parks and Recreation Seeks Input on CIP

The City of Ames Parks and Recreation Department will host a public input session regarding development of its 2027-2032 Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). Residents are invited to provide feedback on projects currently in the plan and to share ideas about new projects for the Parks and Recreation Commission to consider.

Retirement Reception Planned for Out-going City Attorney

The public is invited to a reception for out-going City Attorney Mark Lambert, who is retiring from the City of Ames after 13 years of service. The reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, in the Community Center Gymnasium, located in City Hall, 515 Clark Ave. There will be a brief program at 3 p.m.
