Ames residents can prepare for the upcoming transition to curbside recycling by attending a hands-on workshop at Lincoln Center Hy-Vee, 626 Lincoln Way. This session can help participants practice using the new 96-gallon blue carts before the program officially launches this July.
This come-and-go workshop covers accepted materials and details regarding the new bi-weekly service and the $7.75 monthly utility fee.
