The funding of CDBG and HOME Programs for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, has not yet been announced. When made available, these funds can be used to implement a wide variety of community and economic development activities directed toward neighborhood revitalization, economic development, and the provision of improved community facilities and services. The funded activities must meet the following three national objectives: 1) benefit persons of low- and moderate-income; 2) aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight; and 3) meet other community development needs of particular urgency.
