Nominations Accepted for ‘A Home for Everyone’ Award

AMES, Iowa – The Ames Human Relations Commission (AHRC) is seeking nominations for its annual “A Home for Everyone” award. The award honors an individual or organization's exemplary commitment to providing housing opportunities for members of disadvantaged populations. To be eligible to receive the award, the nominee must provide housing in Ames.

The recipient of the award will be recognized in April, which is Fair Housing Month.

“The AHRC is committed to expanding accessible housing within our community,” said Casandra Eames, AHRC staff liaison. “Through this award, we aim to celebrate the exceptional work of those dedicated to ensuring accessible housing for every resident.”

The Home for Everyone award nomination form is available on the City’s website at http://www.cityofames.org/ahrc. The nomination form is due Friday, March 20.
