City of Ames Offices Closed Monday, Feb. 16 for Presidents’ Day

City of Ames offices closed for Presidents Day

AMES, Iowa – Most City of Ames departments and divisions, along with the Ames Public Library, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16, in recognition of Presidents’ Day. The exceptions include:

  • The Community Center, located in City Hall, will be open regular hours (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

  • Ames/ISU Ice Arena will be open from 12:30 to 2 p.m. for figure freestyle.

  • The Resource Recovery Plant, 110 Center Ave., will be accepting garbage (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). However, the office will be closed.

  • CyRide buses will run a regular weekday schedule.
