Stormwater Fees

The current stormwater utility fees went into effect on July 1, 2022. The fees reflect the ongoing costs of managing stormwater in our community. Funds are used to:

  • Maintain and improve aging stormwater infrastructure including storm sewers and streams
  • Construct water quality practices
  • Control soil erosion
  • Address localized flooding
  • Adminstrate and fund the cost share rebate program for stormwater practices on private property

The fee structure is based on four tiers that are based on impervious surface area on each parcel. Impervious surfaces include rooftops, driveways, and sidewalks. Residential homes are typically in Tier 1. Following is a list of the tiered utility fee structure:

1 150 - 10,000 $5.20
2 10,000.01 - 30,000 $10.40
3 30,000.01 - 90,000 $15.60
4 90,000 and above $46.80
