Ada Hayden Path Ribbon Cutting

Concrete path

Ames Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Ames City Council and Parks and Recreation Commission, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new concrete path at Ada Hayden Heritage Park. This event will take place at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the park, located at 5205 Grand Ave.

The Ada Hayden Heritage Park Trail Improvement Project, which began in August, involved the removal and replacement of the 10-foot-wide asphalt trail with a 12-foot-wide concrete path. It also included replacing the path connections to Edgewater Court, Fletcher Boulevard, and Stonebrooke Road.
