Cost and Purchase Requirements: The Downtown District Employee Parking Tag costs $10 per month, with a minimum purchase requirement of three months.

Parking Benefits: Each tag allows for extended parking in any of the free 4-hour parking spaces located in the Central Business District (CBD) lots. However, parking is not permitted daily from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

Usage Restrictions: Downtown employee parking tags are not valid for use in free 2-hour parking spaces, at parking meters, or in Reserved Parking spaces.

Eligibility: These tags are available for purchase only by individuals who work in the Downtown Ames Area.

Renewal Process: If a parking tag holder wishes to continue participating in the downtown employee parking tag program after their tag expires, they must sign a new parking tag agreement, and purchase a new tag.
