Moore Memorial Park

In 1987, approximately 90 acres of land were donated to the city of Ames by Fern and Bertha Moore and developed into Moore Memorial Park on the north side of Ames.

The park is a popular destination for picnics, weddings and enjoying nature. Another popular feature is the red barn and silo, which have served as the backdrop for many weddings and family photos.

Moore Memorial Park has two shelters available for reservations.
