Private Lessons (ages 6 and up)

Private lessons are designed for students who benefit from a more individualized learning experience. These one-on-one sessions are tailored to the student’s specific needs and goals.

While private instruction can be beneficial, especially for students who require focused attention, please note that many younger students often learn best in a group environment with peers.

These lessons are not affiliated with the American Red Cross and may not follow the formal structure or requirements of Red Cross programs. No Red Cross certifications will be issued through private lessons.

The first class will include an evaluation of the student’s current skill level and help establish personalized goals for the session series.

Teen Swim Lesson (ages 13 to 16)

This class allows teens to work alongside their peers to learn how to swim or improve basic swimming skills. It is not intended for competitive swimmers or those looking to refine competitive strokes.

The course focuses on fundamental skills such as front crawl, elementary backstroke, and treading water. It is designed to help students reach a comfortable skill level in deep water.

Minimum: 6
Maximum: 10
Instructor ratio: 1 instructor to 10 children

Adult Learn to Swim (ages 16 and up)

This course is designed for adults with little or no swimming experience. Instruction is individualized to match each student's needs and skill level.

The instructor will work with each participant and provide practice activities while assisting other learners. On the first day, students are encouraged to come prepared with personal goals to discuss with the instructor.

Students may be paired with others to support the learning process. The class begins in shallow water and progresses to deeper water as skills improve.

Minimum: 6
Maximum: 10
Instructor ratio: 1 instructor to 10 students
