Tree Planting Event

In recognition of Arbor Day, a tree planting event will be held on Saturday, May 10, in the Marston/Curtiss neighborhood between 13th and 16th streets. Thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, 50 trees will be planted. Volunteers can plan to meet at 9 a.m. at the corner of Marston Ave. and 16th St.
