Responses to Questions

Question: Clarification on the selection “Ability to perform work”. Does this refer to the availability of key personnel (dedicating a percentage of time), or technical expertise of the staff?

Response: The “Ability to perform work” refers to the availability of key staff, current workload, and the ability to control project budget/costs.

Question: The RFQ states that teams should demonstrate the ability and capacity to produce a regional travel demand model using the Iowa Standardized Model Structure (ISMS). Will a Statement of Qualifications showing expertise of a comparable modeling structure suffice?

Response: The Iowa Standardized Model Structure began implementation in late 2017, therefore, it is not expected for consulting teams to have experience using the ISMS architecture. Qualified teams should be able to demonstrate the ability to perform work on travel demand models including the ability to work with a standardized structure.
