Amendments to the FFY 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program Available for Public Comment
Amendments to the Federal Fiscal Year 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is available for a public comment period that will end on Friday, June 28, 2019. The TIP is an annual document required by the Department of Transportation to program regional transportation projects from the long range transportation plan with Federal investments.
The purpose of the proposed amendment is to add a CyRide project, which was awarded Iowa Clean Air Attainment Program (ICAAP) funds by the Iowa Department of Transportation, into FFY 2019. The addition of this project into the TIP will make ICAAP funds available for CyRide route changes in West Ames, which were implemented in Fall 2018.
Copies of the TIP are available for review Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ames Area MPO office, Room 212, Ames City Hall, 515 Clark Avenue, Ames.
