2012 Veishea Service Day / Stash the Trash Saturday, March 24 Stash the Trash is a community-wide beautification project that will take place on Saturday, March 24. Local residents and ISU students work together to remove litter and other debris from neighborhoods, roadways, and parks. It is a great project for organizations, groups, and families. The registration form will include streets and parks to sign up for. Pick your neighborhood or your favorite spot in Ames!
Code Red Test for Ames Planned on Feb. 28 AMES, Iowa – (Feb. 14, 2011) – The Story County E-911 Board is planning to test the Code Red emergency notification system for Ames residents on Tuesday, Feb. 28. The test message will be delivered to residents as an automated phone call, text message or email.
