Interest cards are provided as a courtesy and convenience so you can be notified when the City is accepting applications for a job class in which you are interested. Information will be mailed to you when a recruitment period is announced. Interest Cards are kept on file for one year. The card does not constitute an application.
The City cannot be held responsible for delays in the mail or other unforeseen circumstances that may result in you not receiving notification or receiving it too late to meet the application deadline. We suggest that you periodically check the job openings page or phone the job line at 515-239-5198 in order to be advised of vacant positions.
