The
City of Ames plan year for medical benefits runs from July 1 to June
30.
An open enrollment period is offered to employees for plan changes
annually.
During the open enrollment period you may change plans (subject to
limitations) and/or add dependents, who were previously eligible,
subject to the plan's waiting period for pre-existing conditions.
Changes during the plan year are subject to federal regulations.
