Neighborhood Sculpture Application |

Is there a
place in your neighborhood that needs a little spark? Do
you know a park that would serve as the perfect backdrop for a
sculpture?
The Ames Public Art Commission's Neighborhood Sculpture Committee would like to collaborate with Ames neighborhoods to acquire a sculpture from the Art Around The Corner Exhibit currently on display in the Ames Main Street area.* If you neighborhood is interested in having one of these sculptures placed nearby, call the City Manager's office at 239-5101 or fill out a Neighborhood Sculpture Application. *The artwork must be displayed in a "public" area that is open and be accessed by the citizens of Ames, such as a neighborhood park or cul-de-sac. Safety considerations for both drivers and pedestrians will be a deciding factor in placement of the art. |
