If you're looking for a way to stay informed about
what's going on in your neighborhood and other neighborhoods across
the community, sign up to receive the quarterly Neighborhood News
Newsletter. The newsletter is available online as a PDF and
can be sent to you electronically. Additionally, the
newsletter is mailed to
approximately 2,000 Ames residents living in neighborhoods with
active Neighborhood Associations. However, any Ames resident
can receive the newsletter.
Help us keep mailing costs to a minimum by sending in your e-mail
address. Or, if you prefer a paper copy, send your name,
street address, and zip code to
neighborhoodnews@city.ames.ia.us.

Anyone can submit information for inclusion in the quarterly Neighborhood News newsletter. All submissions should include a contact name and number. Neighborhood News can be used to publicize a neighborhood event, social gathering or activity; or the information can be shared after the completion of project. Photos (with caption information) are encouraged.
The quarterly schedule for Neighborhood News:
January - Winter
April - Spring
July - Summer
October - Fall
Submissions are due the 15th of the month prior to publication. For example, for the October (Fall) issue, all submissions should be sent in by September 15.
