Building a New House

Required Submittal Documents:

1.    Building Permit Application

2.  Site plan showing:

              All easements

              Setback requirements

All buildings on the property

Distance to all property lines from the buildings

3.    Detailed building plans

4.    REScheck energy compliance worksheet

5.    Construction Site Erosion and Sediment Control Permit Application (COSESCO) and a residential Storm Water Pollution Prevention  Plan (SWPPP)

6.  If the new house will be in the Somerset Subdivision, the building plans shall be required to be stamped and signed with the developer's approval. 

7. Additional information as necessary to ensure safe and code compliant construction - you will be informed of any required additional information as part of the plan review process
