Membership: The Plumbing/Mechanical Board of Appeals is comprised of five members: one journeyman plumber, one master plumber, one journeyman mechanical trade person, one master mechanical trade person and a fifth member who shall be a journeyman or master of either trade or a person with professional teaching experience or study in the engineering of plumbing or mechanical systems. There shall not be more than one member employed by the same employer.
Purpose: The Board members are appointed to hear appeals from decisions of an inspector and to review proposed changes to the plumbing or mechanical codes and make recommendations to the City Council.
