The City of
Ames,
through
the Neighborhood Liaison Program,
will continue to work together with Ames
residents
to promote great neighborhoods with a sense of community.
The City will respond to
expressed needs and initiate ideas and activities
that support building
stronger neighborhoods.
The Neighborhood Liaison
Program will develop events, policies and projects
to help citizens to
marshal resources
that will fortify and strengthen existing efforts.
The Neighborhood Liaison
Program will promote
mutual understanding of issues and viewpoints
by
fostering communication between citizens and City government.
We believe this effort
will achieve
the highest possible quality of life for neighborhoods in
Ames.
