Development Block Grant Program
This program will provide assistance, up to $1200, for rent and utilities deposits for low income households at 50% or less of the Story County median income limits (see below). The program will be implemented within the city limits of Ames. The overall goal of the Deposit Assistance Program is to allow low-income households to gain access to housing and/or improve their housing status. This program is subject to availability of funds.
