Development Block Grant Program
This program will provide one month of assistance (up to $1000), to households with incomes at or below 80% the Story County median income limits (see below) for childcare assistance. The program will be implemented within the city limits of Ames. The overall goal of the Childcare Assistance Program is to provide gap assistance for low-income households to gain affordable childcare while transitioning into self- sufficiency. This program is subject to availability of funds.
