Homebuyers Assistance Program
This program will provide financial assistance to qualified low and moderate-income first-time homebuyers with gross annual income that are at or below 80% of the Story County median income limits to purchase existing and/or newly constructed single–family housing in residentially zone areas. The overall goal of the Homebuyer Assistance Program is to allow low and moderate-income households gain access to housing and/or improve their housing status.
Financing for this program is being provided by the City of Ames
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the
Ames/Story County Partnership (ASCP) Affordable Housing Program.
This program is subject to availability of funds.
