Absentee Voting Instructions
A provision in state law, added as part of the implementation of the Help America Vote Act, requires that ALL absentee ballot requests be made on the official Secretary of State Form. Absentee Voting in Person: Absentee voting in person may be done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Auditor's Office, 900 Sixth Street, in Nevada. Absentee Voting by Mail: Voters may request absentee ballots in order to vote by mail. All request forms must be signed by the
registered voter and mailed to:
Click here for an "Official Absentee Ballot Request form" Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by the day before Election Day and received prior to the official canvass in order to be counted. Ballots may also be returned in person to the Auditor's Office prior to the close of the polls on Election Day. Click here for more information.
