| Regular Meetings of the Ames City Council take place on the
second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., unless changed
in advance in an open meeting. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers, located on the second floor of City Hall at 515 Clark Avenue. Parking is available across the street in front of the building. Meetings are aired live on Cable TV Channel 12 or may be viewed on line by clicking on the purple "12 News" icon at the left. Agendas will be posted during the week preceding each meeting. Draft agendas are usually available on Tuesday afternoon, one week prior to the scheduled meeting; final agendas are usually available by late afternoon on the Friday preceding the meeting. Please note that agendas may be changed up to 24 hours before the meeting time as provided by Section 21.4(2), Code of Iowa. Click on meeting dates below to see this month's agendas.
